Pea Soup with Ham Recipe

  • 4 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 2 cups split peas
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup ham
  • 1/2 cup celery
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 1/3 cup carrots
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 2 cups milk

Description

Prepare 4 chicken bouillon cubes with hot water according to package directions. Put mixture in crockpot. Add all ingredients except milk to crockpot. Simmer for 8 hours on LOW or for 4 hours on HIGH. One hour before serving, add milk.
