Cherry Cinnamon Cobbler Recipe

  • 1 (21 ounces) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 (12.4 ounces) tube refrigerated cinnamon rolls
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spread pie filling into a greased 8-inch square baking dish.
Set aside icing from cinnamon rolls. Arrange rolls around the edge of the baking dish. Bake 15 minutes. Cover and bake 10 minutes longer or until golden. Spread icing over rolls.
Serve warm.

  • 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons cold butter or margarine

  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Cut in the butter.
Combine the egg, applesauce, and sour cream; mix quickly with the dry ingredients. Turn out onto a floured surface; knead lightly then roll out dough to 1/2-inch thickness.
Cut into 2-inch biscuits and arrange on a baking sheet. Sprinkle the cheese over the biscuits and bake 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Yields 18 biscuits.

Mounds Bonbons Recipe

  • 1 (15 ounces) can sweeten condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 pound confectioners' sugar
  • 12 ounces coconut
  • 24 ounces semisweet chocolate
  • 4 tablespoons solid shortening shortening

Mix together condensed milk, butter, sugar, and coconut. Cover with wax paper and chill for 24 hours.
Melt chocolate with shortening. Roll the coconut mixture into balls and with fork dip into chocolate. Drop on wax paper to cool and dry.

Chili Tots Casserole Recipe

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans chili without beans
  • 1 (8 ounces) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (2 1/4 ounce) can slice ripe olives, drained
  • 1 (4 ounces) can dice green chiles
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (32 ounces) package frozen Tater Tots

In a large skillet, cook the beef over medium-high heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in the chili, tomato sauce, olives, and chiles. Transfer to two greased 8-inch square baking dishes. Sprinkle with cheese; top with Tater Tots. Cover and freeze one casserole for up to 3 months.

Cover and bake the remaining casserole at 350 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes or until heated through.
Frozen casserole: remove from the freezer 30 minutes before baking. Do not thaw. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours or until heated through. Serve with a dollop of sour cream.
