Hidden valley ranch buttermilk dressing mix Recipe
15 saltine crackers
2 cups dry parsley
1/2 cup dry minced onion
2 tablespoons dill weed
1/4 cup onion salt
1/4 cup garlic salt
1/4 cup onion powder
1/4 cup garlic powder
Put crackers through blender on high speed until powdered. Add parsley, minced onion and dill weed - blend again until powdered. Add onion salt, garlic salt, onion powder, and garlic powder.
Put into a container with a tight fitting lid. You can store this dry mixture at room temperature for up to 1 year.
To mix dressing, combine 1 tablespoon dry mix with 1 cup mayonnaise and 1 cup buttermilk. Whisk until smooth, chill to thicken.
Great on salad or as a dipping sauce for fresh vegetables and hot wings.
